Roderick To Wheel Bill Elliott Racing/Monolith Hospitality Entry In Seven GMP Events this Season
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JEFFERSON, GA (February 24, 2010) – Casey Roderick will be a fixture at Gresham Motorsports Park this summer competing in multiple events as a member of the Bill Elliott Driver Development Program.
Roderick, who is sponsored by Monolith Hospitality, will race in seven events at Gresham Motorsports Park including events in both the Super and Pro Late Model divisions. Included in that list of events will be the 27th-Annual World Crown 300 Super Late Model classic November 12-14.
”We have gotten to know Casey over the past year and feel confident that he will represent our company well,” said Russ Sutton, Chairman and CEO of Monolith Hospitality. “Not only is he a great racer, but his work ethic and overall spirit is a great fit for our organization. I believe he is in great hands with Bill Elliott and there is no question that we will enjoy great success this year.”
Monolith Hospitality, an Alpharetta, Ga.-based company, specializes in providing interior design, renovation, restoration, and reinventions of hotels. Monolith Hospitality is also a sponsor of Gresham Motorsports Park.
“This step taken by Russ Sutton to come on board is exactly what we needed to give Casey the opportunity to showcase his talent to a larger viewing audience,” stated Elliott, noting Roderick will compete in five Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) events in the No. 51 Bill Elliott Racing Dodge including this weekend’s event at Palm Beach (FL) International Raceway. “We are all hoping that his performance in the events he’s running this year will create enough enthusiasm to generate interest among other sponsors that will take him into a full ARCA sponsorship in 2011.”
Roderick is expected to be on hand when Gresham Motorsports Park opens its 2010 season with a multi-division racing spectacular on Saturday, March 13. The day’s events will be headlined by a Champion Racing Association (CRA) 125-lap Super Late Model clash. Also on tap on the March 13 GMP program will be the Outlaw Late Models, Trucks, Renegade Street Stocks and the INEX Legends and Bandoleros.
Tickets for the 2010 Gresham Motorsports Park Season-Opening event are just $20 for adults, $18 for Seniors and Active Military Personnel, $10 for Children ages 6-12 and kids 5 years old and under free.
Gresham Motorsports Park accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card.
